How to configure Database settings

Hi,
I like to configure the database settings.
And I am using IDS Informix Server and MySQL Server with Vb .NET language and PHP language.
I have IDS Informix Server 9.40 software and Visual Studio .NET 2003,2005, 2008 and PHP IDE installed on my computer.
I would to know how to make the configuration of the database in VP to explote those database.

Do you mean you want to reverse the database in IDS and MySQL to VP?
