Dear community,
We are currently developing a set of ArchiMate diagrams to describe the current state of our applications. We would like to start developing diagrams describing the future state and analyse the gaps between the current and future. What is the recommended way to do this?
We could use the Model Transitor and Visual Diff but the relations between the transited elements in the new diagram and the elements not included in the view of the original diagram seem to be lost. Therefore, we cannot fully discover and analyse the impact of changes made to the new diagram on elements in other originally existing diagrams.
Additionally, if we later use the Model Transitor to create a new version of another diagram, the two new diagrams will most probably be completely independent and an analysis taking into account both will be impossible.
