How to find out which patches a released service pack includes?

Hi,

is there a way to find out which patches a released service pack includes ?

e.g. a hint in the release notes like:

Latest patch build version included in this service pack is 20080707xy

I am running a patched version of VP-UML (Build 20080707zq) and wonder whether the just released service pack 1 for VP-UML already contains these patches (which are quite important for me) or not.

I read the release notes and could not find any information.

Thanks + best regards,

Jan Harmsen

Hi Jan Harmsen,

Thanks for your post. The patches with an English letter at the end are not published to public, but we always include all the patches of previous release to next formal release (e.g. build 20080623c is merged into 20080707). Therefore your build 20080707zq (a patch of the build 20080707, which is the latest formal release of VP Suite 3.3) is included in our current VP Suite 3.3 SP1.

You can find the bug fixes and enhancements from VP-UML 6.3 to VP-UML 6.3 SP1 at http://www.visual-paradigm.com/news/vpsuite33sp1/vpuml63sp1.jsp
For other products, please visit http://www.visual-paradigm.com/news/vpsuite33sp1/

Also, you can find the changes between builds of each version (e.g. since VP Suite 3.3 build 20080609 to build 20080623) in our forum announcements “Change Log”:
http://forums.visual-paradigm.com/forums/show/37.html

I hope these answer your question. If you have any further question, please feel free to ask.

Best regards,

thanks a lot, this was exactly the piece of information that was missing !

(Neither the official changelog .jsp page nor the forum changelog page contained this info)

Once again thanks + best regards,
