How to move a lifeline independently from a loop frame?

Hello!

If I create a loop-frame and a lifeline I can not move the lifeline left and right without moving the loop-frame as well. I wonder - is it possible to move a lifeline in such case independently, maybe I’m missing something?

Hi Andrei,

If the combined fragment already added the lifeline as covered, it must fit its bounds to ensure all lifelines are covered visually. If you want the lifeline to lie outside the combined fragment, you may want to remove it from the covered lifelines of combined fragment. You can see how you can do this in the following documentation:

But the problem is that you can’t freely move a lifeline even within the combined fragment. It sort of “sticks” to it and it’s only possible to move both as a group.

Hi Andrei,

Can you show an example of what your diagram currently is, and what you want the result to be, so I can check the issue for you? Thank you.

Antony.

@antony, here is what I mean:

Thanks Andrei, we will check and see whether we can enhance this feature.
