Install problems, Java Exception

Hi!

I have some problems until i install VP Suite 2.3.

First the Setup says, the last Setup wasn’t successful and the Java VM might be corrupt. After that it says, it couldn’t find the Java VM and let me choose it. If i choose the newest Java.exe (V5.0), the Setup will break with an error-message. This is the content of the logfile:

This happens when i use an older Java Version too. The newest Version of VP (Version 3) i can’t use, cause there is no license for it (i tried at all).

Could you please help me to fix the problem?

BTW: The VP Version 3 can be installed without problems.

Thank you for your post. Could you try the No-Install version? If you are our customer, you can download it from the Software page of your customer account.

Hello,

i downloaded the VP Suite 2.3 No-Install Version from my customer account. But as i install it (VPSuite2.3/bin/VPSuite.exe), the Version 3.3 will be installed. We don’t have a license for Version 3. We need the Version 2! What can we do?

I am afraid this is a misunderstanding. VP Suite 2.3 contains the following product:

VP-UML 5.3
SDE 3.3
BP-VA 1.1
DB-VA 3.2

Are you licensed to any of these products? If not, may I know which VERSION and which PRODUCT that you are licensed to, so that I could instruct you to download the right product? Or simply, you can let me know about your licensee email address so that I can check it for you.

I has a error to, but with a diferent program.

this error was fixed when i remember that i have changed the configurations of the Regional Configuration in the Control Panel. So i get back all to their normal configuration and the problem was solve.
