Instant reverse chocking on "&" on php5

Hi,
I am using the instant reverse feature on a php5 file.
vp-uml chokes with this error message:
error occured when analysis: test.php. Encountered “&” at line 18, column 26

relevant code here:
foreach ($resources as &$resource) {
…
…
…
etc.

any clues?
