Invlide key for SDE for Eclipse

The followings are my operation:

  1. downloaded the SDE for eclipse 2.1 .
  2. get a license key by email
  3. install the SDE , during this period I import the license key
  4. install was accomplished
  5. I startup eclipse
  6. open SDE in eclipse , OK , SDE is opened
  7. but when I want to do some operations through Modeling menu , it pop up a message box which tell me that the license key I have imported is an invalid . while I open the Product Edition Manager the products status are all valid . What happens !
    Someone help me , please!

I’m currently running into the same problem.

OS: Linux
JDK: 1.5.0_02-b09
IDE: Eclipse 3.1M5a

Please give us a hint! Does the “No_Install” version help?

The reason for the problem probably caused by the product edition stated in the license key was not matched with the edition of the product installed. To solve the problem, please launch to Product Edition Manager (from start menu or launch inside the bin directory) to modify the edition of the software you have installed.

I have the same problem:
OS: Win XP
JDK: 1.4.2_03
Eclipse: 3.0.2
SDE: 2.1

The communicty key seems to be invalid :frowning:

The reason for this problem probably caused by the product edition in the license key was not matched with the installed product. Please make sure the edition of the license key and the installed software are match. You can open the Product Edition Manager (from start menu or launch inside the bin directory) to query and modify the edition of the software you have installed.
