JRE can't connect to X11?

Hello.

I’m running Ubuntu Gutsy on an AMD64 machine. When trying to install VP, I get the following error:

java.lang.InternalError: Can’t connect to X11 window server using ‘:0.0’ as the value of the DISPLAY variable.

I imagine there’s some simple fix for this, but I can’t figure out what it might be.

Help, please?

May I know are you running the installer from XWindow environment? or the XWindow was note yet start when you run the installer?
