Launching VM-UML Pro on Mac OS X

I downloaded the 30-day trial version of VP-UML Professional Edition which ended up giving me a folder called vpumlpro_20040705_no_install. The build is 20040705b.

I tried double-clicking the bin/VP-UML PE Panther but it just bounced and went away quickly. I then tried the bin/runVPUML.sh script but it didn’t work either. So I delved in a bit deeper.

The bin/VP-UML PE Panther file Info.plist hadn’t set the Classpath correctly so I moved the launcher into the lib directory (where the jars are located) and tried it again - with success.

Not sure where the QA went on this release but this may turn off some potential customers who don’t want to go to the trouble of debugging the launchers themselves.

I had the same problem. Thanks a lot for your tips.
