Hi Stefan Kelemen,

Thanks for your post. May I know whether you selected “Install service “Floating License Server Service”” and “Start on bootup” (see attached image) dring installation of Floating License Server?

If yes, would you mind to tell me your system details and send me the vp.log file in “bin” folder of Floating License Server installation directory? Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Lilian Wong

Hi Stefan Kelemen,

Thanks for replying. I’m sorry that from your log, it only shows started Floating License Server once and does not show any exception (no die). Would you mind to explain more about how it “die”? Is there any error message you got that you believe Floating License Server died?

Best regards,
Lilian Wong

The only i can say is the service stops dies or going to the angels between the line 8 and 9.
On wrong information from me, the Server is a Windows Vista.
ventual a Problem with the service and Vista?

Hi Stefan Kelemen,

Sorry for my late response. We had tested on 64-bit German Windows Vista of with Floating License Server running for 2 days, but did not experience any problem on the license server. May I know whether your license server is installed on 64-bit Windows Vista?

Best regards,
Lilian Wong

Hello Lillian,
thank for the investigation.
The System is a 32Bit Vista.
After i get a new License file, for new Licenses and apply the option in Services, bring it alive two times and more times we got no more problems.

Best regards
Stefan Kelemen
