Lock project fail

Hi,

We have decide as a business purchase SDE-EC for modeling our java code and integrate it with SVN for version control.

I have installed SDE-EC 4.1 for Eclipse 3.2.2, created a new project and swich to SDE. Then I import the new project into SVN via teamwork and it is successful. I then make a Use Case dig and try to commit to SVN. I get preparing to commit prompt, then a error box saying ‘Lock project fail.’

Does anyone know what is causing this or were I can see any logs to explain it.

Phil

Dear Philip Basford,

Thank you for your post. Does any of your teammates encounter the same problem? Are you able to repeat it after restarting SDE-EC?

Besides the questions above, I would like to ask you for the vp.log file for further studies. You may find the file at the Eclipse folder.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,

Locking at the logs, seems to be the SVN Lock method not being allowed.

I have checked our SVN installation on Centos 4.5 installed via yum. Yum installed version 1.1 and it does not have the lock method. Therefore I have patch using RPM’s to 1.4 which does have SVN lock.

Therefore I am going to have a another go on Monday to see if it has resolved the issue.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Phil
