Can the master view of a connector be changed to the repository (or to another diagram), like other model elements?
You can set the master view of connector just like other elements. But for connector the master view is just responsible to the deletion, i.e. when user delete a master view connector we will then prompt user do he just want to delete the master view while keeping the underlying connector model, or delete all include other views.
The owner of connector is always follow the master view of the from end element’ parent.
