Multiple source directories

Hiya,
thanks in advance for a good product.

Many projects I work on break up the project sources into multiple source trees - this is particularly important for managing shared dependencies across multiple projects (i.e. your frameworks or J2EE modules).

Whilst I see VP lets you specify multiple source directories, afaik all the generated sources goes to a single workspace directory.

To truly make use of VP, we need to do round-trip, i.e. our initial design would be done in VP, and then during development we would do changes in each source tree, sometimes in our IDE and sometimes in VP.

Many sequence diagrams will use classes from multiple source trees.

Any recommendations for whether/ how this can/ should be done in VP
