Thanks for your post. I believe you read our book “Object-Oriented Technology: from Diagram to Code with Visual Paradigm for UML”, which is written several years ago. Currently we fully cover UML 2.2, and there are much more features when compare with the version of VP-UML used in our book.

I am thinking of buying the book so that is why I am wondering if the book edition covers UML 2.1? and if another edition of the book is scheduled to be published?

Thanks for replying. I’m sorry that our book does not cover UML 2.1, and it focus on development process but not on teaching UML. We are sorry that at the moment we do not have plan to re-write the book.
BTW, our Online Training Center introduces courses on object-oriented analysis and design, we use UML in the courses as well. In future courses, we will introduce courses that is similar to our book.
