Plugins without menuPath entries are disapear in VP 14.0

Hi, i have changed from VP 12.1 to VP 14.0
some of my used plug ins disappear and the occurrence of the other are also changed.

My observation is if the menuPath value is not available in the action section the plugin is not shown on the UI.
I have test it with the “Changing Order of Child Element” Example. It is not shown on the Toolbar.

Also my one Plugins are shown in a different way. If menuPath entry is not available they are not visible on the UI.
If the menuPath is vailable with a dummy value the toolbar is visible, but not as an toolbar as in the older versions it is shown as a menu
entry in the menu bar.

I would prefer the old behavior.

Hello Harald,

As I know we have made some adjustment on the plugin menu in the latest patch. Would you please try update the software to latest patch build to see will it solved your problem. Details about update to latest patch can be found at

  • Please make sure you have pressed the “Update to latest patch” button on the left hand side of the dialog right after launching the update program
