Printing doesn't work

I can’t get Visual Paradigm to print any of my diagrams. I’ve attached a screenshot. Briefly, the problem is that the print preview part of the UI is always empty, no matter how many times I try to click on the diagrams or drag them.
If I try to click print it says that “There are no pages to print”.
I’m giving up. What’s going on? Can this be fixed?
I’m running Visual Paradigm 4.1 Community Edition on Slackware Linux 10.1.

Nevermind, I figured it out :-).
Obviously I wasn’t checking the checkbox next to the diagram. May I point out that I find this rather convoluted and counterintuitive.
