Hello,
I found following topic on this forum:
http://forums.visual-paradigm.com/posts/list/345.html
It looks like, it was possible to define encoding for PDF reports. Currently (ver.7.1) I can’t find this setting. Where to was it moved?
best regards
Piotr Rezmer
Hi Piotr Rezmer,
Thanks for your post. As we changed the report engine, we do not have “Encoding” option for PDF report, but normally different languages are supported in our PDF report generation.
Also, we have “Font” option. You can switch to “Options” tab in Generate PDF Report dialog and select the font that support characters of your language.
But we experienced that Russian, Polish characters cannot display properly with “SVG” as diagram type. If you experience similar problem, you can try to select “PNG” as diagram type (see image) and try generate the PDF report again.
Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to ask if there is any further inquiry.
Best regards,
Lilian Wong

Thanks for response,
Indeed, switching to PNG from SVG helped with diagrams and characters. Switching font from default “Custom” to Arial also helped with table contents. Thanks for this hint.
