I’d like to use a caption in multiple lines to increase readability in export. It would also be great if it were possible to use indices in captions?!

damn. just so easy, that I did not found this solution ;D thank you and sry for double-posting. You just need quite a while here to moderate posts and i hoped that registered users dont need moderation of posts … and i was wrong ;D

Do you mean to show numbers in names of sequence messages? They are by default visible. If you do not see the numbers, I guess you have set them hidden. Please enable by right clicking on the diagram and selecting Presentation Options > Message Display Options > Show Sequence Numbers from the popup menu.
