startup time is TOO SLOW what the heck is this thing doing?
as it stands I can not say I will buy the full product. I can understand some lag on my laptop it’s older and slower…
but I had time to read some of your pdf’s view the web site and so on while this thing was initalizing… I now have the windows added to vs but have no controll and can’t do anything…
all this time is watsed and I have a metting to go to…
NOT GOOD!
why is the software doing this? is it single threaded ?
is it trying to create many things all a t one time that I do not need?
did anyone profile the app?
You say you have a Pentium 1.4 - I believe that these pentium 4’s were the first ones to come out? If so, I’m not sure if you know this, but that speed (1.4.ghz) is only when idle… and when it actually does something, the speed is reduced… by like half… so in actual fact a P3 700 would be around the same speed as your P4 (under load)
