SSL rating of F (insecure) of Visual Paradigm Server

Hi.
When checking the VP server (self hosted) with different online ssl check tools, all report a bad / old SSL version.

Could you please provide an updated SSL library for the VP server?

What’s the version and build no. of the VP Server?

Hi.
It seems that we have only done a webapp upgrade without updating the server. I am going to migrate the whole server anytime soon and will report back.
Maybe it would be a good idea to not allow this kind of update (which seems to be recommended) if this result in the backend never being updated.

Thank you for your suggestion. We’re planning to show a warning when the server is running in old version.

Hi Steve,

We implemented two enhancements when migration is recommended:

  1. for current version upgrade to enhanced version, will show warning in login page after upgrade.
  2. after upgraded to enhanced version, will show warning before next upgrade.

It’ll be available in next update.
