It seems that JDeveloper 10.1.3 isn’t supportet.
On starting Jdev i get an error:
/home/markus/develop/JDeveloper/jdev/lib/ext/vpsdejd.jar
Warning(0,0): This extension was written for a previous version of {0} and may not run properly.
sde isn’t usable.
Any change to resolve this soon ?
Sorry Markus, we will support JDeveloper 10.1.3, but not in the near future. As a workaround, would it be possible for you to try with SDE for Eclipse instead? For details about SDE for Eclipse, please visit: http://www.visual-paradigm.com/product/sde/ec/
Any chance that 10.1.3 might be supported soon ? We are starting a new project using JDeveloper 10.1.3 (.2) and either we’ll use it now or not at all - 10.1.3 is required to be in step with the new EJB 3.0 support in the Oracle Application Server so it isn’t an option not to use it.
For the same reason, we are using OAS so JDeveloper rather than Oracle gives us in-process debugging so using Eclipse would lose that advantage, which makes your suggestion above to do this a non-starter for us.
I am sorry that we still need some time to support JDeveloper 10.1.3. We expect that this will be available in Service Pack 2 (about June this year). Sorry about this.
By the way, did you try our standalone VP-UML? It does not need to integrate with JDeveloper. It may be an alternative for you.
Can you please provide a quick update on support Jdeveloper 10.1.3 with VP-UML? We are in the process of finalizing the tool’s for a large project, where Jdeveloper will be the IDE for Java development environment,
Quick response on this is highly appreciated

Thanks for your post. I regret that the support of JDeveloper 10.1.3 has been postponed. We are unable to say for sure when this will be available. Once it is ready, we will inform you. Sorry for any inconveniences it may cause you.
any updated plans for support for JDeveloper 10.1.3 ? Please indicate if support is still intended, and if so, when.
Our decision to purchase the tool is also dependant upon the support for JDeveloper and must be made promptly (ie. this week). We are looking to purchase a substantial volume of licenses.
Thanks for your post. We are sorry support to JDeveloper 10.1.3 is delayed (currently we support JDeveloper 10.1.2). We constantly review the possibility on supporting v10.1.3 and will let you know once we support it.
Should you have any inquiry, please feel free to contact me.
