Text of diagram elements is blurred

Hello!

I use VP-UML 7.2. Each time I create a new diagram (let’s say a class diagram) the text on the diagram elements (in this example the class name) is blurred…it is not as sharp as the text on the menu bar etc. When I open the newly created class using Styles and Formating => Formats… the text in the Preview window is very sharp. If exported into jpegs the text is still blurred.

When I use VP-UML 7.1 this problem does not exist. Any ideas?

Thanks for your post. We changed to run VP with JRE 1.6 instead of 1.5 since VP Suite 4.2 (covers VP-UML 7.2), and Java seems to have different handling of text anti-aliasing in 1.6. Therefore, you will find the text is more blurred than old versions, but I’m sorry that there is nothing we can enhance on this issue.

If you would like to have clearer text, you can disable “Text anti-aliasing” at Tools > Options > Diagramming > Appearance. Please let me know if you have any further inquiry.

Hello,
I have the same problem in Agilian 10.0
But there isn’t such option in Application options :frowning:
How can I disable anti-aliasing?

Clear text and Smooth fonts are disabled in my Windows 7.

Please try:
Tools > Project Options > Diagramming (list item) > Appearance (tab)
