Transitions: Use Name or Triggers

I want to add to a transition an event name. Do I use then in the General window the name field, or do I use the Triggers window. If I use both, then the event name is written twice.
Triggers are handy, because I don’t need to enter the same event name for multiple transitions. Or what is the difference between Name and Triggers in the Transition Specification window?

Thank you for your help.

Hi Thkol

Thank you for your inquiry. According to the UML specification:

A trigger specifies an event that may cause the execution of an associated behavior. An event is often ultimately caused by the execution of an action, but need not be.

Therefore, it would be better for you to use Trigger to define your event.
