Hi
We are using Visual Paradigm server 16.1 server in our organization with float licenses
We have some users who run VP on their own PCs with Windows 10 and some other users who run VP on a Windows server with zero client devices
Recently we upgraded our Windows server from 2012 to 2022 and now we have two problems with the VP
1- The first one is that since we have updated the server, VP uses “C://Users//AppData/Visual Paradigm” path instead of the default path which was “C://Users//AppData/Roaming/Visual Paradigm” for saving its files. Actually, it ignores the Roaming folder while it exists and the user has read/write permission on it.
2- Another problem is that whenever the user closes the VP application and opens it again, the contents of the VP folder in AppData will be loaded again. like the folder never existed before.
Please note that users had used this client/server structure in a Windows Server 2012 before and these two problems did not exist until we updated the servers to Windows Server 2022
Thanks in advance
