Visual Paradigm for UML 6.4 stopped working

Hi, I’ve been using Visual Paradigm for UML 6.4 Standard Edition for quite a while now,
but 2 weeks ago it suddenly stopped working. It immediately disappears after showing
the Splash-Screen for a second.

Also when I start the Program as an Admin-User the VP Suite 3.4\bin\ Folder contains some new Error-Logs e.g.
hs_err_pid832.log:

The log looks to me like a Java-Crash in the ATI Graphics Driver?!
I recently updated my AMD Graphics Driver (because the old one wasn’t stable).

Is there a fix?
What can I do?

hs_err_pid832.log looks like this: (I removed my Environment path and login-name, … do you need more??)

Fixed it by replacing my Graphics Card (AMD HD 5670) with a Nvidia one…
Now it’s at least working again.

Current AMD Drivers (for the HD 5670) seem to cause a Java crash.

In order to run Java 1.6 on OS X, you need to register for the Apple Developer Connection (ADC) and then you can dalwnood the JVM 1.6 PRE-RELEASE DEMO. This is not for production use and does not support a good number of JVM Args. All that being said, it is much faster than 1.5 and well worth the time to get it.As always though, caveat emptor.
