Hello,
our employees who use other tools, e.g. Visio, have a question.

Is it possible to import a database of objects with assigned attributes from other tools, e.g. Visio, in VP? The infrastructure area in our organization has built a database of network objects that it uses to build network diagrams and infrastructure layout.

The second issue concerns the use of a script in Visual Basic to determine points from coordinates. For example, if you have an image of a country, you can plot cities in points using a script with coordinates. Is there such an option in VP?

Thank you for your inquiry. If the database objects model with proper stencils (i.e. crow foot) then our desktop version can import them into our ER model, with columns and relationships preserved.

Currently we do not support plot the cities of a country image with scripts. Feel free to contact me for any questions and wish you have a good day!
