VP can't connect to PostgreSQL database

I have a postgresql db running in docker. Tried to connect to it with the Tools->DB->Database Configureation and a strange ;instance= is appeared in the database name. Database postgres is existing but postgres;instance= of course is not.

If I create the postgres;instance= in the postgres it can connect to it but this is not the expected behaviour.

I would like to let you know the unable to connect to PostgreSQL problem has been fixed and please update the software to latest patch build (v16.0 build 20191020ba or later) to get the problem fixed. Details about update to latest patch can be found at

  • Please make sure you have pressed the “Update to latest patch” button on the left hand side of the dialog right after launching the update program
