I’ve tried to upgrade to SDE 5.2 community edition for Netbeans 6.8 (having successfully installed SDE 5.1 community edition last week) but now in SDE 5.2 when the installer prompts me to specify the root installation directory for Netbeans, it does not accept the path I specify (which is definitely correct - being the default value /Applications/NetBeans). Is there a workaround for this?
Hi user,
Thanks for your post. As you install a new version of SDE, please uninstall the old version (SDE 5.1) before installing SDE 5.2. Otherwise, you will not be able to install SDE 5.2 on the same NetBeans since you cannot install more then one SDE/DB-VA on same IDE.
If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
