VP (Windows) without administrative rights

We try to use VP under Windows 7 in our classrooms where our students don not have administrative rights - I believe that VP tries to rewrite registry-keys and so VP will not start. Is it possible to start VP without administrative rights ?

Thanks.

Can you run the application with admin permission, and then go to the About dialog > Environment tab, and tell me what is the value of the “user.home”?

Best regards,
